Originally part of the show soul mates,
the Fawn and the Child are two giant characters straight from the wild.
With awakened senses, they wander, each on their own path,
exploring their environment with all the joy, spontaneity, and curiosity of childhood.
As they weave their way through the landscape, the Fawn and the Child forge bonds with passers-by.
Each encounter is a unique opportunity to experience their observations in symbiosis.
The pair ultimately reunite after a series of hide-and-seek games that draw them close and pull them apart.
The Fawn and the Child
A silent and poetic ambulatory performance, full of tenderness and smiles.
A visual poem in black and white on the wilderness of childhood.

Magali Chouinard, Myriame Larose, and Karine St-Arnaud
are piloting this poetic theatrical work.
Before every performance, we determine the route the characters will follow
in order to provide passers-by with “windows” from which to observe them.
We also look for suitable spots where we can bring people together at certain key moments during the performance.
